Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve hosted SMER SCIENCE DAY on 11-9-2019. High school and community college students from the surrounding communities gathered to learn about water quality and the importance of watersheds. Thanks to the Santa Margarita Group of the Sierra Club, Riverside Flood Control and Water Conservation District, and the keynote speaker, Celeste CantĂș, Vice Chair of the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board, and AmeriCorps NCCC Green Team 3!
