Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve hosted SMER SCIENCE DAY on 11-9-2019. High school and community college students from the surrounding communities gathered to learn about water quality and the importance of watersheds. Thanks to the Santa Margarita Group of the Sierra Club, Riverside Flood Control and Water Conservation District, and the keynote speaker, Celeste Cantú, Vice Chair of the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board, and AmeriCorps NCCC Green Team 3!

The Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve had an interpretive table at the Fallbrook Boys & Girls Club Family Day event on Sep 15th, 2018. Our volunteer docents, Ashley, Beth and Diane, prepared interactive activities for kids and information about the reserve.
